deltarune is the parallel story of undertale, following the protagonist, Kris Dreemurr, as they save the world alongside Susie and Ralsei foretold by the prophecy long ago.
Outside of this very simple sypnosis, deltarune has several layers and secrets hidden in both the game and the files that we have yet to find out. With only 4 of the 7 chapters released at the moment, we can only speculate with what pieces we have right now.
deltarune is a game i hold close to my heart, not only is it the game that i was able to be around for and hyped since the beginning, but its themes of escapism, friendship, and finding your true self in such a world have resonated with me since the first chapter and only furthered as i played the second chapter. After playing the third and fourth chapter in one sitting, this game has moved me to tears and having to take breathers just to fully process certain parts (and frankly, I don't think I'll be able to process it before the next chapter even comes)
